Our Story

The Nigerian Association of Engineering Craftsmen is a professional body for Craftsmen Cadre. It was established after the amendment Decree 55/70 by Decree 27/92 now the engineers (registration e.t.c) Act 2018 which empowered Council for theRegulations of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) to registered all cadres of engineering family. The Association was established in1993.

Our History

The Nigerian Association of Engineering Craftsmen is an Engineering professional body established by Decree 27 of 1992 as it amends Decree 55 of 1970 now the Engineers (Registration, e.t.c) Act 2018 under the auspices of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). The Decree provided that "The Association shall promote and up-date practitioners of the Engineering Profession through continuing education, organising of Workshops, Seminars and Conferences. The Association was officially launched in Lagos in 1993 by, Engr. M. A Nwana, MNSE, Chairman/CEO. Mosaf Nig. Ltd, in 1996 the Association held its first National Engineering Conference in Lagos, Subsequent National Conference were held at Lagos 1997-2000.
